Q. I have forgotten my username. How can I retrieve it?

Q. How can I update my profile (i.e. personal information, manage address preferences, change username and change password)?

A. Visit https://www.press.jhu.edu/journals and log into your Profile under the My Account heading.

From this page you will be able to:

  • Add an additional address by clicking on "Add Address."
  • "Edit" or "Delete" a current address you have or "Set as default" a preferred delivery address for your account.
  • Change your username to another of your choosing.
  • Change your password to another of your choosing.

Q. How can I renew my subscription online?

A. Visit https://www.press.jhu.edu/journals and log into your Profile located under the My Account heading. From this page you will be able to view your subscription order history. Select the "Renew" option located to the right of the subscription you are interested in renewing and proceed with check-out and making payment.

Q. How do I obtain a copy of my receipt?

A. Visit https://www.press.jhu.edu/journals and log into your Order History under the My Account heading. Click on the "HTML" link located next to the your order purchase and click to print/download a copy of your payment receipt.

Q. Can I automatically renew my subscription?

A. You can select the "Auto-Renew" option when either subscribing to your journal for the first time or when returning to renew your existing subscription.

Q. When will I have electronic access to my journal?

A. Your online subscription should be available within two hours of activation; if still not active after 24 hours, please email us for help.

Q. How do I access my journal subscription online?

A:

  • Go to the Project Muse website – http://muse.jhu.edu – and click on the white Browse MUSE Content button.
  • Then click on the white Log In button in the top right corner.
  • Enter your username and password in the boxes provided and click Submit.
  • If login was successful, your username will appear in the top right corner.
  • Click on Browse and then scroll down and click on View more Journals. An alphabetical list of journals will appear.
  • Use the tools on the left to find the title for which you have a paid subscription. There will be a green check next to the title(s) you have access to.
  • Click on the journal and a list of available issues will appear. Click on the issue you would like to access. This will bring up a Table of Contents with a brief abstract of each article.
  • Under the title of each article are three buttons – View, Download, and Save. Clicking on View will bring up the full article, clicking on Download will create a PDF of the article, and clicking on Save will save a copy of the article to your personal MUSE library.
