Meet Erik A. Smist

Erik Smist is Associate Executive Director of Johns Hopkins University Press and Senior Director of Finance and Administration. His responsibilities include helping to oversee all aspects of the Press, Finance & Accounting, Hopkins Fulfillment Services, Licensing & Permissions, and Facility Services. He previously was the Chief Finance Officer and Controller for the Baltimore Sun from 1997-2008. He is a Certified Public Account and holds his Certificate of Accounting from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.
