A conversation with author Gil Sandler
March 28, 2017 / 12:30 p.m.
Gil Sandler has written acclaimed books about Baltimore history (three published by JHU Press), and his “Baltimore Stories” have become weekly favorites for WYPR listeners. Join us for a very special lunch and lecture where Gil will regale us with some of his favorite stories, reveal (or not) his sources and inspirations, answer (or deflect) your questions, and invite you to share some of your own best Baltimore stories. In case your Sandler library is not complete, his three JHU Press books (Jewish Baltimore, Small Town Baltimore, and Home Front Baltimore) will be available for sale and signing.
Reservations required. $22 per person. Members should contact the Hopkins Club to make reservations; non-members may contact Jack Holmes at 410-516-6928 to attend as guests of the Press.
