Please supply an abstract of 100 or fewer words with your paper. An exact electronic copy must accompany the original and one copy of the manuscript on computer disk (i.e., CD, floppy). Preferred file format is Microsoft Word, saved as Rich Text Format (.rtf). All articles and reviews will be doublespaced, including notes. All notes must be endnote formatted. Images may be submitted as either black and white photos or as digital files (.tiff or high quality .jpgs) at least 300 dpi. Since images take up space normally reserved for text, please keep any such materials to a minimum. All submissions MUST follow the 6th Ed. MLA Stylebook and be print ready.

All authors of articles and notes will receive 1 bound copy of the issue their work appears in.

It is our policy to require the assignment of copyright from all authors. All manuscripts should be original work. It is the author’s responsibility to obtain written permission for unpublished or published material quoted in excess of fair use, and for the reprinting of illustrations from unpublished or copyrighted material (for both print and electronic versions).

Disk Preparation Guidelines for MLN

MANUSCRIPT/DISK. Please send two paper copies (one original and one copy) of your manuscript and an EXACT copy of your manuscript on disk (CD preferred). Please be sure both paper copies and disk are the FINAL version of your manuscript. Label your disk with your name and the name(s) of your file(s). Delete any other files on your disk. Be sure to save a backup copy of the final disk and printout of your manuscript for your own reference!

All phone numbers and the fax number remain the same.
