The Lion and the Unicorn

On to the Twenty-First Century

In our future general issues we shall be including at least one essay on a "forgotten author" and would like to encourage our readers to submit essays on this topic for publication. In addition, we shall be publishing two special issues in the year 2000 on contemporary literature in North America that will address the status of children's literature. We shall focus on the state of the publishing industry, regional authors, comparative studies of significant books and genres, new developments in theory, the art of illustration, the mass media, and popular culture. We welcome submissions on these topics as well as proposals for all our future issues.

Please refer to Special Issues for updates on future issues.
