Late Imperial China

Late Imperial China is the principal scholarly journal for historians of China's Ming and Qing dynasties. The journal presents methodologically innovative work in political and intellectual history, social, economic, cultural, and gender history, as well as historical demography. Each issue features new work by historians working all over the globe, including Europe, Japan, Taiwan, and the People's Republic of China. Published almost entirely in English with Chinese glossaries for most articles.
