Author Guidelines

Authors should submit their manuscripts online with ScholarOne at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/elh.

ELH strongly prefers submissions in Word (.doc or .docx) format. Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with The Chicago Manual of Style, 16th ed. Manuscripts should be double-spaced, with one-inch margins, in Times New Roman, 12 pt. font. Submissions should be at least 8,000 words in length and should not exceed 14,000 words, including endnotes. An abstract of around 100 words should accompany each submission.
