From I-95 (northbound):
From Maryland 295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway): Take King Boulevard until it ends at Howard Street (remain in one of the middle lanes of King Boulevard to avoid a premature forced right or left turn). Turn left at Howard Street and proceed about 2 miles. Turn right on 27th Street; at Charles Street, take a left; the second building on the right is JHUP. Find street parking.
From the North (Philadelphia, New York, etc.) Alternatively, from the north side of Beltway, take I-83 southbound and follow the directions given below for I-83.
From the Jones Falls Expressway (I-83) southbound: Baltimore's downtown train station is named Penn Station and is located on North Charles Street, approximately 15 blocks south of the Press. A cab ride from the station to the Press costs about $3.00. Train schedules from all over the US are available from Amtrak, from the Mid-Alantic region on the MARC train line, from the Washington area on the Washington Metrorail, or from the Baltimore area on the Baltimore MTA/Light Rail. Baltimore's BWI (Baltimore/Washington International) airport is approximately 25 minutes south of the Press. Servicing over 15 airlines from all over the world, BWI is an easy ride from JHUP. |
